CLC Hosts "State of Democracy" Event

Mercer Central Labor Council proudly hosted a "State of Democracy" talk with Dr. Stephanie Luce, professor of Urban Studies and Civics from the City University of New York York. Over 50 delegates engaged in a dialogue about authoritarian attacks on our institutions, labor law enforcement, voting rights, and a free and open media.  

Protecting our democracy starts at home, within our unions, by having tough conversations with our members.
